Now in our 15th year of hosting this event, the evening will be held in the Grand Marquee on the pitch and this year we are privileged to welcome former Liverpool & England international Phil Thompson to Old Greasby Road.

Phil made 340 appearances for the Reds, playing as a defender for the Liverpool team of the 1970s and 1980s. During this time, he also represented England on 42 occasions. After retiring as a player, he later served Liverpool as assistant manager and, during the 2001–02 season, acted as caretaker for 6 months while manager Gérard Houllier was ill. He is currently a pundit on the hugely popular Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports where he can be seen most Saturday afternoons getting animated alongside the other panelists.

To compliment our main act, Phil will be joined by a top local comedian and compere and our guests will enjoy a three course meal and complimentary wine with waiter service for drinks meaning you can enjoy the evening without having to stray to far from your table.
