As I drew back the curtains on Saturday morning and saw the inclement weather, I didn't hold much hope for a productive Natwest Cricket Force weekend, but as I type this and reflect on what we achieved I am filled with a deep sense of satisfaction.

With all the jobs relying on good weather, I was so pleased when the rain eased about 10am and the mammoth list of jobs could commence. It is great credit to the huge turnout that we were able to complete the following list of jobs:

• Sand & paint the sightscreens
• Jetwash and re-seal the covers
• Repair the mobile cage
• Make inroads into filling in some of the pot holes in the driveway
• Clear the ditches
• Brush the nets
• Repair the roofing in the entrance way to the patio
• Repair work to some of the fences
