Upton CC will be setting the standards both in terms of performance and attire for the 2015 season in a revolutionary new step to introduce coloured cricket clothing to league cricket.

Having been approached by a local clothing manufacturer to act as a pilot club for their coloured clothing range, the rule books were queried and there was nothing to preclude them from donning some snazzy attire for the forthcoming season.

All players will be issued with the new clothing at outdoor nets on Thursday 16th April, and speaking ahead of the launch; 1st XI Captain Andy Roberts had this to say:

"It's really exciting to be involved with this and I’m sure it'll brighten things up and add an extra dimension to our game".
