Not only is Chris an extremely valuable player on the field, but he’s also hugely popular off the field and will be a huge asset across the whole club as we look to build on the successes of 2024.

Commenting, 1st XI skipper Matt Owen said “I’m so pleased Macca will be spending the summer back amongst his friends at UCC. His record speaks for itself, and is a huge boost to have his services for another season. Chris brings so much on the pitch and is green and gold to the core. I’m delighted that he still wants to be a part of the project we have going forwards. Welcome home once again Macca!”

Currently enjoying his cricket in Albury under fellow UCC player Ross Dixon, Macca commented “I’m really looking forward to being back and going again and doing my best to help this amazing club on and off the field to continue being the best cricket club in England! While 2024 was a very solid season for all sides, it’s now in the books for good and we must look forward to 2025 and continue to strive for improvement in all aspect of our cricket and build on the season just go by playing very competitive cricket but also very disciplined cricket! With a couple of new (old) faces coming back and building on the current quality and depth filtering down the sides and with a conscious effort to all adopt high standards during winter nets and pre-season training I’m sure we can start the season quickly and build strong momentum much like last year and carry that through the entire season. I could not be happier to be coming home again and seeing so many special people again! I hope everyone has an amazing night at the hot pot and keeps warm for the winter! See you all in April - UPTOOOOOOOOOON !!!!”
